ABOUT:
Wonderful antique jewelry clasp in tricolor solid 18k gold. Larger size and eye catching with safety chain ready for use. At center is a forget me not flower set with turquoise. The piece is crafted in tricolor gold with rose gold and green gold accents. Additional flowers on the left and right side are set with a tiny rose cut diamond for sparkle.
These are just nice to have on hand when building your neckmess / neck stack. There are plenty of reproductions of these made but this is an actual antique piece so they are hard to find.
This would make a beautiful pendant, or could be used in the construction of a neckmess or neckstack where it adds beautiful color and sparkle. I thought it would be pretty as a bracelet as well, it can situated north south or east west.
It has four loops, two on either end to connect in with a chain, with the safety chain that has its own clasp, connecting to the tongue on one side and the catch on the other. Functions perfectly with a strong snap. Chain in photos is not included. I did not have an 18k chain to attach it to so I decided to sell it as is.
Antique piece from the Victorian era that I acquired in France. It is hallmarked on the clasp and loop of the safety chain and the entirety of the piece is 18k gold.
Chain / props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
23x15x9mm deep. The turquoise are 3mm.
It weighs 4.8 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Functions perfectly, just note the small loops. You might have to work with a jeweler to add jump rings to fashion it how you like or permanently add to chain (s). Very little wear or discoloration to the natural turquoise which is lovely to see.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
