A gorgeous antique fringe pendant. The piece has beautiful movement and chunky old mine cut diamonds in a fringe setting that dangles and has a sort of tulip floral top. Maybe representing a fuchsia flower or crown imperial?

I actually have a pair of these as shown in photos but one has a longer center dangle with two more diamonds than the other. While they both appear complete when viewed on their own, if you study the bottom of the shorter one closely, you can see that the middle dangle has an uneven edge indicating that the part holding the two additional diamonds had come free. But again when viewed on its own and while wearing, it isn't really noticeable that it was originally longer, until you compare it to the other.

I am selling them individually since they don't exactly match, although I do think they would be a pretty great pair of earrings. Awesome 3D design with a dome to the draping floral top and a lovey movement the way the diamonds catch the light and sparkle.

Assuming the longer one will sell first, I will reduce the price of the second one after the first sells, and if someone desires the pair, just reach out.

Found in France, these antique pieces are from the early Victorian to late Georgian period. They are crafted in 18k gold with the diamond collet settings topped in silver. So the piece faces up as silver with gold loops, bale and spring ring. The settings to the diamonds are open backed.

Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
The longer is 28mm by 12mm. The shorter is 23mm by 12mm - measuring to the attached loops on each and not the dangling jump ring. Each weigh about 2 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Note the small loop for running the chain through.
Typical antique diamonds are also typically imperfect with the nibbles and nicks, some typical warm hues, natural inclusions, some frosty spots. These were of course hand cut in much much more limited supply compared to the millions of carats of diamonds produced each year now. As mentioned one has a shorter center fringe dangle than the other but both certainly wearable. A few of the diamonds have that gorgeous warm to pale yellow hue and some of the old hand cuts are elongated. I love these!

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
