POPPY Flower Figural French Antique Art Nouveau Ring 5g 18k Gold Ruby Diamond Floral

Sigh... Swoon... I love this one so much. All the first pieces of jewelry I ever kept for myself when I started out were floral pieces, I just love the figural artwork and they bring such happiness, even in the doldrums of winter.
This is a fine one that I grieve to let go, such a great design and beautiful contrasting texture with areas of high shine and satin finish to the recesses of the petals and leaves. It's delicious. This French antique piece is from the Art Nouveau period. It is set with a little single cut diamond and a ruby for a pop of color and sparkle. The forked shoulders are decorated like tree branches to continue the naturalist design.
French hallmarks for 18k gold.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5 1/2. It weighs a sturdy 5.1g. The ring face is 16mm north south. The stones are small, almost 2mm each.

Nothing major to report that you wouldn't expect on a piece with age. Awesome piece to wear, I love it. But my disclaimer as always:
