Vintage AMETHYST Emerald Geometric Domed Band Stacker Ring 18k Gold French Green Purple Chunky
ABOUT:
I love a good gemmy stacker! This one with such unique coloring! I usually go for older pieces but these retro vintage domed bands are always sun fun for a chunky look and pop of color in a stack.
French vintage piece which is where I purchased it, with their hallmark for 18k gold and a goldsmith stamp. The oval amethyst is bezel set east to west with the little emerald on each side set in a diamond shaped bezel. Knife edge details at the shoulders to add additional geometry.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7. It weighs 4.2 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Some nibbles to one emerald and the other has a hairline crack but is held in place. At least I think it is a hairline unless it is an inclusion carrying up to the surface. Hard to tell even studying it under magnification. It isn't eye visible because they are so small and off to the side.
Amethyst is in better than most condition. Surface wear to the gold, there are no dark spots to the gold, it is just shiny and mirrored.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
