Chunky 2 Carats Old Mine Cut DIAMOND Five Stone Stacker Band Early Victorian Open Back Antique 18k Gold Silver Collet Georgian Stacker OMC

I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered one piece at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:
This one is very "me" with the ornate details at each shoulder and the extra chunky old mine cut diamonds. All original antique stackable diamond five stone band. This one looks Georgian era in the cuts and setting and the detailing at the ring shoulders, but with the open backs behind the stones (so sought after and easier to wear), it may be early Victorian.

Quite sturdy and special with all the antique details and the special old cuts with their lofty crowns. So fun to view from the side to see them cropping out of the ring face. Quite impactful and also beautiful to layer.

I purchased it in France it has their later hallmarks for 18k gold and silver and has an old serial number stamped into one side.

Ones of my faves in the shop with stones like this, but I'm not keeping much for personal collection at the moment so I hope it finds a good home!

Antique box is not included. Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6. Weighs 2.5 Grams.

Ring face is 6.8mm north to south on the finger and end diamond to end diamond is 17mm wide east to west. 4.7mm off the finger with the high crowns of the chunky diamonds.

Exact depth and thereby carat weight is unknown as I would never remove them from the setting. They widen out an unknown amount in the collet setting which wraps up and around the edges of the stone.
Here are the visible measurements of the diamonds in the settings:
The largest center stone is 5.3mm and .75 carat alone, so chunky is the cut.
Flanking the center are 4.5 - 4.7mm stones about .45 carat each.
End stones are about .2 carat each.

Total carat weight is a little over 2 carats, and this is definitely quite conservative as I'm not able to measure the actual diameters of the stones in their settings.

IMPORTANT. CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. The center stone is eye clean which we love to find. The other stones are in the SI range with a crystal pocket or speck here or there, none overall frosty, no large inky carbon spots. One of the smallest end stones as a bronze colored inclusion that can reflect around the stone and give it more warmth as it is quite reflective. All the diamonds are typical for the period with varying warm hues, some of what is seen due to how they reflect the light with their incredibly chunky cuts.

Quite wonderful to see a piece like this with five special stones and such lovely detailing in such ready to wear condition. All the stones are very well held and the open backs make them easier to wear as well. In my opinion, it has the perfect amount of patina to the shoulders and ring face as well, with darkness in the recesses to make the silver settings and the shoulder detail stand out. Swoonworthy!

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).

Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
