Antique Eye Clean Rose Cut DIAMOND French ViCTORIAN 7.3mm Wide Cigar Band Ring 7.3g 18k Gold Solid Stacker Chunky Belle Epoque Unisex

ABOUT:
This French piece is an antique from the Victorian era but still looks so relevant and modern to the jewelry trends of today.
Sleek flat / pipe cut cigar band that is 7.3mm wide. It is set with a rose cut diamond that measures around 4.5 by 5.5mm with a nice dome to it for a lovely antique sparkle. The diamond faces up at over half a carat, exact carat weight is unknown as I would not remove it. This could be considered a unisex design. It has a nice geometry to it with the diamond set in a raised square bezel with bead prongs at each corner.
No hallmarks remain which is common for French antiques due to their stamping location, this one has been sized in the past. Sold to me as 18k which is the standard there and tested in multiple ways to confirm. The gold has a beautiful, warm and pale rosy hue from age and patina. It is shown in photos with a 22k gold band which reads very yellow for contrast.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Currently a size 7 on my ring sizer mandrel. Additional measurements above. It weighs a sturdy 7.3 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Very nice clarity to the antique diamond which is eye clean with just a few faint specks seen under strong magnification. There is a difference in hue to the gold at the back of the shank where it was sized where one spot is more yellow gold compared to the rest having a rosy hue. No dark spots to the gold, just surface wear and antique patina and it can reflect its surroundings in pics.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
